Native Italian, Maurizio Ferrarese, joins the Quattro restaurant team as Executive Chef of Four Seasons Hotel Houston.
Chef Maurizio was born and raised in the small town of Vercelli in the Piemonte region of Italy between Milan and Turin. Maurizio brings not only his extraordinary experience to the executive chef position but also his love for all things Italian, which makes him the perfect fit for Quattro’s authentic Italian cuisine.
Having traveled Europe and the U.S. with Four Seasons, Chef Maurizio began his career at Four Seasons Hotel Canary Wharf in October 2000 as a senior chef de partie. His next stop landed him in sunny California where Maurizio held positions in Aviara, followed by the Chicago and Hualalai, Hawaii, hotels. A promotion to Executive Sous Chef took Maurizio back to Europe at Four Seasons Hotel Budapest before moving back home to his native country, Italy.
A former soccer player, Maurizio now spends his time relaxing and watching movies with his wife, Whitney.
